Go Lang Nang Go

Day 39

I saw this TVC last Saturday:

I am not a Globe subscriber, but I do love the positive vibe of this TVC. It sort of tell people to live for today and just go do whatever it is you want to do (do something to make you better, that is).

Sunset

Anyway, today was a good day. Well, I felt kinda sad that I wasn't able to resume my early morning walks even if I woke up early. I woke up around 5:15am, but I just closed my eyes for a bit and the next thing I know it was already 7:20am! Oh geez..where did time go? Hahaha.

Well, I might not be able to walk today, but I did do my workouts - Billy Blanks Jr.'s "Waist Workout", Shaun T's "Hip Hop Abs Cardio" and "Hip Hop Abs Ab Sculpt." I so loved the feeling of getting sweaty, but I still wasn't able to insert the "Hip Hop Abs Hips, Buns, and Thighs" into my schedule, but I will try to manage my time well next time.

Late afternoon, I went to the market just to buy vegetables. Sister planned to cook Fish and Chips for dinner, and since we usually serve it with aioli, I decided to include vegetables by making coleslaw. I only brought my cell phone with me, and although the images above weren't that pretty, they sure looked pretty in person. I don't bring my camera all the time especially when I go to the market, but after seeing that sunset, I am thinking of bringing along my camera to take pictures of random goodness from the heavens.

Fish and Coleslaw

What I ate today:
  • 8:56am - 1 piece sliced whole wheat loaf bread + 1 teaspoon tuna-mayo spread + 2 slices cucumber
  • 11:47am - 1 cup garlic rice, 1/4 cup leftover veggies (from last night), 3 pieces shrimps, 3 tablespoons corned beef with potatoes
  • 7:04pm - 1/2 cup rice, 100g breaded cream dory fish, 50g coleslaw (Shredded cabbages, grated carrots, minced red onions and garlic mixed with mayonnaise, seasoned with salt and pepper)
Total Cups of Water: 12

I felt a little guilty eating a lot for lunch, but I felt more guilty if I didn't eat the rice. My brother tends to cook way too much rice every meal, yet he doesn't like eating leftover rice. I understand that "cold" rice has more sugar level compared to the freshly cooked rice, but seeing way too much left over rice made me feel bad if I don't eat it and just throw it, because I do know there are so many people all over the world who doesn't have anything to eat. I felt like throwing up my food right after eating (not because I am bulimic and all) because my tummy is just not used to eating that much anymore. I was able to hold the food in (for throwing it up would be bad), but I told myself I will never eat that much again because I don't want to feel that bad again.

If there's one good feeling I have, it's the fact that I can eat all sorts of food and still lose weight. I kept the weighing scale under the bed so I can't see it and have the urge to check my weight, but I just can feel that I am continuously losing weight, even if I eat full meals for lunch and dinner. Isn't it amazing? I can eat good and still lose weight. Who says it's not possible? As Rhonda Byrne puts it on her book "The Secret," it's all in the mind and the law of attraction.
