Earrings!

First day of 2013, us girls went out with our neighbors for an all-day bonding at the Quezon Memorial Circle. In between walking, chit-chatting, and eating, we checked the shops for stuff we might want to buy. We didn't want to buy any clothing items, but one thing that really caught our interest were the jewelry.

There were just a lot for sale, some were quite expensive, but the others were so cheap we just couldn't let it slip the moment. Of course, none of these were real gold, but they just look pretty and they make a good accessory during certain events. These pairs of earrings we bought were all priced at 20 pesos (0.50USD) a pair:

Brown Dangling Earrings

This pair I bought for cousin Marge's wedding. The event's color motif is Red with a splash of Gold, and because I don't want to go really gold, I thought this brown pair would be okay as my accessory.

White Dangling Earrings

Another pair I bought was this white chandelier-like earrings. No definite reason why I bought it; I just felt this would go with any outfit I'd wear.

Mushroom Earrings

Jessie instantly bought this the moment she saw it. She really likes unique looking accessories and this, she said, reminds her of classic Disney movies.

Coil Earrings

This pair of coil-like earrings is another one sister bought; another unique looking piece of jewelry, she bought this because the coil is silver and the heart is goldish, allowing her to mix silver and gold jewelry as well.

Blue Flower Earrings

I suggested Jessie to buy this because blue is her favorite color, and I loved it's design. This wasn't something she really loved, but because it was only 20 pesos, she bought it as well.

Butterfly Earrings

Jessie loves butterflies. She owns several butterfly stuff, and chose this particular pair because this is something she could wear at work. Other designs have different colored jewels (not real, of course), but she wants it to be just simple.

The earrings may not be real gold and silver, and they may not have real jewels, but these will allow us to be fashionable in a way. Best thing about owning these, should we lose any of the pairs, letting go will not be that tough.
