I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright, bright
Sun-Shiny day.

Day 107
15 January 2012
I got to walk early this morning, but because my sister borrowed my camera and I wasn't able to charge my phone the night before, I decided to just walk alone - no stopping over for pictures... just me, my mind, and my willingness to get well.
If things would go my way, I should be walking / jogging with Mr. Pipoy today. However, the love of my life has been sleep-deprived the past few days, so I understood that he had to catch up with much needed sleep. Actually, I was hoping we'd be together, so I (with him, of course) could make a quick side trip to Sidcor Weekend Market so I could buy some dill - to be used in two of Food Friday's recipes. Well, maybe I could do that next week. :)
Speaking of Food Friday recipes, I did find Maiylah's recipes quick and easy to do, which is why I am challenging myself to cook 4 of her recipes this week. Today, I tested one of the recipes , and even if the fritters didn't look good (I didn't use a lot of oil), I actually loved how it tasted.
One "duh-oh!" moment today: I was supposed to attend a Chinese New Year-related event at SM City North EDSA, but I sort of lost track of dates / times that I forgot today's the 15th! The event was scheduled at 4pm, and it was already 3:58pm when I finally realized about it. Oh geez. Well, my sister had my camera, so even if I had the ample time to catch up, I still wouldn't produce good-quality images taken by my cell phone.
For breakfast, I ate rice with scrambled eggs, for lunch, I ate two of the mung bean fritters with rice, and for dinner, I had this chicken - veggie meal with 1/2 cup of mock tinola soup. Well, I have fully adjusted to the 1/2 cup of rice per meal... and because the veggies were crunchy, chewing on it allowed me to trick myself that I was eating more than what was on my plate.
Slowly, the path is getting clearer and clearer.
Happy meal na sakin basta may chicken!
